Achievements
Llamau has achieved a considerable amount over the last two decades. The key to our success is 'true engagement' with our service users and a 'passion' for putting their interests first at all times. This success is built on the rapport that Llamau staff establishes with service users and underpins Llamau’s whole methodology.

During 2005/06 Llamau supported over 730 homeless or potentially homeless people:

  • The number of our service users in work, training or education increased by 31%
  • Llamau supported 48% of our service users with drug related issues to reduce those issues
  • Llamau supported 51% of our service users with alcohol related issues to reduce those issues
  • 65% of our service users reduced their offending behaviour whilst with Llamau
  • 60% of our service users with mental health issues improved the management of their mental health whilst with Llamau
  • 68% of our service users with learning difficulties accessed additional services to address their situation whilst at Llamau
